[by Sora Ghim] Kara’s Goo Hara is finally making her solo debut with her first mini album ‘ALOHARA’

At noon on July 14, her solo album ‘ALOHARA’ will be released through online music sites. On the same day, the music video of her title song ‘Choco Chip Cookies’ will be revealed.

‘Choco Chip Cookies’ is the work of Park Woo Sang, who worked with miss A, Mamamoo, BTOB and more. The sweet lyrics express sharing a moist chocolate chip cookie with a lover, going together with Goo Hara’s voice. Giriboy also participated in the track, completing it.

The music video for her new song was directed by Joo Hee Sun, who also did Sistar’s ‘Shake It,’ Teen Top’s ‘Ah-Ah’ and Niel’s ‘Spring Love.’ Filmed in Ko Samui, Thailand, the music video is filled with the mood of summer and shows Goo Hara’s sweet and sexy appearance.

Goo Hara personally worked on this album’s concept, choreography and music video, working together with the staff to complete her first solo album. Coming 8 years since her debut with Kara, Goo Hara is putting her name on the line as a solo artist. Moreover, Kara’s Han Seung Yeon participated in the album by writing lyrics and Hur Youngji featured in one of the songs.
